Vuelta a España 2015 Stage 21, Alcalá de Henares to Madrid, 98km

With the contest for the overall title settled on the slopes of yesterday’s brutally tough mountain stage, the 2015 Vuelta a España enters Madrid for a largely celebratory stage over a short 98 kilometers.

Starting in Alcalá de Henares the peloton heads 40 kilometers into Madrid for 10 laps around a 5.8-kilometer circuit. While the overall and KOM jerseys are settled, there is still a tight contest for the points jersey and, of course, the prestigious stage win in front of the Plaza Cibeles.
